The Office of International Affairs of Universitas Islam Sultan Agung welcomed international students through the 2026 Cultural Orientation Program. The program was organized to help students become familiar with the university environment, academic services, local culture, and student life at UNISSULA.
Supporting a Smooth Academic Transition
During the orientation program, international students received essential information about academic procedures, campus facilities, immigration services, health services, student activities, and communication channels available throughout their studies.
The session also introduced students to the role of the Office of International Affairs in supporting international mobility, academic administration, cultural adaptation, and communication with university units.
Introducing Indonesian Culture
Cultural understanding was an important part of the program. Students were introduced to Indonesian customs, daily communication, social etiquette, and the diverse cultural environment of Semarang.
Through interactive activities and group discussions, participants were encouraged to share experiences from their home countries and learn from fellow students. These activities helped create an inclusive atmosphere and strengthened connections among members of the international student community.
Connecting Students with the Campus Community
International students also had the opportunity to meet university staff, student representatives, and fellow participants. The program provided a space for students to ask questions, build friendships, and understand the support available during their study period.
